ACH Origination & Transfers
The Automated Clearing House (ACH) system allows a member to have electronic debits or credits automatically withdrawn from or deposited to his or her share account or checking account at Professional Fire Fighters Credit Union. There are two types of ACH transactions:
ACH Originations – Automatic Deposits and Withdrawals with another financial institution. ACH originations are “originated” by the credit union to occur on a specified date each month.
1. A member can choose to have money transferred from another financial institution to a deposit account or a loan at Professional Fire Fighters Credit Union.
2. A member can also choose to have money transferred from an account at Professional Fire Fighters Credit Union to a deposit account at another financial institution or payee.
ACH Receivables – Direct Deposit and preauthorized payments. To begin Direct Deposit of a check to a deposit account at Professional Fire Fighters Credit Union, please contact your employer’s payroll department.
Use a money order where checks are not accepted for $1.00 per money order.
